Species-appropriate diet for freshwater shrimp and crayfish
Most freshwater shrimp of the genera Caridina and Neocaridina feed on algae growing on leaves, roots, and stones in their natural habitat. sera Shrimp Granules soften over several hours, allowing the shrimp to graze slowly, mimicking their natural feeding behavior.

sera’s crayfish food is also specially formulated to meet the needs of these animals. Most crayfish species (e.g., Astacus, Cherax, Procambarus), as well as many crabs (e.g., mangrove crabs), feed primarily on fallen leaves and other organic material, such as carrion, in their natural habitat. Aquatic creatures like insect larvae, amphipods, and aquatic snails are also a regular part of their diet. Therefore, the main food for crayfish contains both high-quality plant and animal ingredients.

Both types of feed contain an appropriate amount of calcium to support a safe molting process.

Instructions for use:
Feed sparingly once a day. Tip: Do not remove leftover, long-lasting granules too quickly, as freshwater shrimp graze their food slowly.

Composition:
Fish meal, wheat flour, wheat germ, brewer’s yeast, spirulina (5%), calcium caseinate, seaweed meal, calcium carbonate, gammarus meal, nettle, willow bark, alder cones (1.5%), fish oil, mannan-oligosaccharides (0.4%), alfalfa, parsley, paprika, green-lipped mussel meat meal, spinach, carrots, Haematococcus algae, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, garlic, anise seeds.
